With over 500 new tracks to fire up the dancefloors in the ensuing weeks its difficult to know where to start, but start we must. We kick off with the mighty Reinforced Records, dons of drum n bass and pioneers of electronic breaks with five albums in the pipeline featuring the early and formative releases from such legends as Doc Scott, Nookie, Nick OD (aka Nicky Blackmarket), Cold Mission and compilation ?Original Liquid?. If ever there was a reason to r-r-r-r-rewind then this it it! Miss these at your peril. Also digging in the vaults marked ?classic? we find Stefan Robbers EevoNext dusting off Wladimir M.?s ?Electronic Muzique? and USA Import unearth a few more celebrated techno cuts including the Wonka classic ?Oempa Loempa? amongst others Kirk Degiorgio?s resurrected ART imprint continue?s to shine the light on emotive techno with his new ?Swarm? 3 tracker and Dirt Crew find that life begins at 40 with the house shaking grooves of The Runners ?Workin? My Nerves?. Keeping it house, Broadway & Wilson continue to fly the chi-town flag on Gene Farris?s Farris Wheel and hot new label Maxi Discs deliver two new scorchers of the disco/house variety with Ray Mang?s superb remixes of Marius?s ?Jet Set? and Ajello?s ?Hot July? featuring Reverso 68 man Pete Herbert on remix duties. Uncharted Audio continue to boldly go where other labels fear to tread as key tracks from LJ Kruzer?s ?Manhood & Electronics? get remixed by Cyan341, Trademark, TVO and Ukkonen, Hakan Libdo wears his house trousers on Sophisticate whilst Hoodfellas and DJ Flawlez dance off Detroit style on Booty Breaks and Juke Trax respectively. Last but by no means least we have the many hybrid divisions of the Bonzai dancefloor department as we witness new albums from Bonzai Club Grooves, Bonzai Elemental, Bonzai Progressive, Republika, Green Martian, Camouflage and Bonzai Music itself – all brimming with massive club chart hits. Further we welcome a new label to the EPM fold. The techno and minimal label Numb was born in 1998 in Birmingham to release more experimental club techno by slovakian artist KRE (Olga+Jozef) and later by Rumenige. The label then moved to Bratislava and recently has released solid clubtracks by Radial, Anton Pieete, Museum, Loktibrada, etc. www.standa.net
