*Anja Schneider – Amore review in Kultus³ Magazine*

Anja Schneider hooked up with Kiki to produce three anthems that mark Mobilee’s fifth birthday. All three tracks are immensely bass driven. High-pitched hats and snares offer contra weight and take things forward. your hand and guide to a foggy dance floor. The highly accomplished iThought dwells steadily on a funky guitar riff and by doing so one is sucked into a vacuum that won’t let go until very last second. Amore starts off where iThought left us. A similar, though more simplistic groove brings us to a point where a breathy vocal drops in. There you have it: this track is cleverly build to mount this particular vocal at the right moment. The rest was history. iLook is unmistakenly the most interesting cut of the three. Its dub-injected beats and mellow synth pattern make this a pleasently catchy tune.

EPM Podcast 6: For many Robert Hood is justly revered as one of the most important and defining techno artists of our generation and EPM is proud to launch their completely redesigned website alongside one of electronic musicʼs most visionary composers. Robert is the guest DJ for EPMʼs latest podcast, featuring tracks compiled from Hoodʼs label M-Plant (which is exclusively digitally distributed by EPM) featuring past, present and future releases highlighting some of Robertʼs unreleased material from this summerʼs ʻOmegaʼ conceptual artist album on M-Plant. The EPM Podcast series reaches new heights with Robert Hoodʼs unique vision. To download/stream the mix click here: http://www.epm-music.com/podcasts/item/51-epm-podcast-#6.html

Hoodʼs forthcoming album is based on the 1971 classic science fiction film, ʻThe Omega Manʼ starring Charlton Heston and derived from Richard Mathesonʼs 1954 novel ʻI Am Legendʼ (which was recently re-adapted to the big screen). As a taster of what is to come you can see Hood dropping preceding single ʻAlphaʼ here when playing at Belgiumʼs legendary Fuse club recently.

Once again reinforcing EPMʼs commitment and global vision to achieve the very best for its artists, rights holders and label partners we have now finalised global deals with more of the biggest and hotly talked about digital stores and streaming services currently on the market. Filing alongside the majors and larger independent labels EPM is now providing its electronic music catalogue to Youtube, Spotify, Basepoint, Deezer and 24/7 Entertainment. EPMʼs Oliver Way comments: “I am proud we have secured contracts with these music outlets, each one offers great opportunities for the labels we represent, giving them more channels with which to reach their fans. Our deal with Youtube will give the labels & their artists the possibility to receive the revenue created by public performances from videos on the website.”

Spotify Spotify offers you legal and free access to a huge library of music. All you need to do is create an account and download their streaming music player. For more details have a look at their introduction video.
